Meditation does not mean doing something. By understanding this, all your thoughts will naturally dissolve in your mind. In most cases we understand under meditation that we should do something, and if we understand under meditation to do something, we will try to do something, on a superficial or a subtle level. It’s like planting a seed in our consciousness. If we plant the seed of having to do something, usually something will arise and meditation will be difficult.
